Depression - yeah. Ya gotta go with it, knowing it will pass. The weather and bare trees would be enough for me. I spent the weekend planting geramiums (bright pink for the front porch boxes) and hibiscus (red and yellow for the big pots on the deck) and some little succulent-looking blooming plants that I hope can take the hot summer sun in the window boxes below the kitchen window. The azaleas are fading, but the lillies are coming on. And spring will "come on with it," even in Minnesota.
Here's one of my favorite quotes. Book of Matthew. When, as you've already expressed, you just have to give it up to the Higher Power.
